So splitpit, do you also get Lynx assignments, or is the $.75 just a transaction fee?
The GLAXIS fee that I was thinking of is for Lynx assignments. With eDirectGlass there is no transaction fee to submit the invoice through EDI, but there is a $1.75 fee if you want to receive receive Lynx assignments.

Splitpit,
Probably has to do with that I'm in a "A" area of service. (which means highly populated) doesn't mean we get more referrals than a rural area because the truth is we don't. BelSafe, D/T, Harmon, Michigan Mobile and Henderson Glass get the majority of jobs here. We only get their overflow. When times are tough, we don't even get that. I'm seriously looking at moving out of Metro Detroit one of these days. Just not sure where too! Hopefully to a warmer climate with less low balling competition. |

Yes, I bought the software. The annual fee includes any updates. I believe it is for both replacement and repair.
What do you mean by Lynx assignments? Yes, I do my Lynx billings using this program. |

Splitpit,
Glass replacement software through Quest is not the same as windshield repair software. Cost is much, much higher! Still not sure how you pay only $50 a year for this but am soon to find out. |

Guys
I know have not voiced on this subject, but I do not feel save giving anyone my account numbers just so it is conveniont for network. With all the computer hackers out there and the brains now days don't you think if someone in the network got a bug up their back side they can take our numbers and find a way to drain our accounts? My sister had a person with her bank account numbers and drained it in Canada for over 20 thou. At this time I have the feeling of paying the stupid fee and right it off under a user fee on the taxes. That is what I have been doing this whole time... Safelite is about .35 each customer. lynx 1.50 each. To me it is not worth it for that little bit, I know it adds up,, But it is not that much yet I may think harder latter when they think of charging more. Just my thoughts Don D. |

As simple as it is to get on EFt and track your payments, I can't imagine why anyone would choose to continue to give them a portion of your hard earned money.

I happen to agree with Splitpit, some people worry about giving out account information but the truth is every time you submit a check payment to anybody all the information is already there. I just recently set up EFT payment with Lynx because it makes sense to save additional cost.

For those that EFT, what kind of notice do you recieve that money has been deposited to your account?
Is it same day email or is it a monthly statement? or Do you have to check with your bank or log into Metryx daily to see?
