Regarding EFT deposits...
The day that the network issues a payment e-mail or posts the payment to their website (LYNX), it notifies their bank to wire the money to your bank account. So, if the network makes payment on Monday morning and notifies their bank before the bank's closing deadline, you will receive your money on Tuesday. If the notification misses the bank's daily deadline (i.e. payment is made late afternoon) you will receive payment on Wednesday.

I always allow 2 business days from notification day for payment to be deposited.

I have the email delivered to my business email. You can choose to receive a personal email or have to look it up on Metryx, but don't know why you wouldn't want the email. It comes from "out-pdf@truecommerce.net" with the subject heading "Payment Order/Remittance Advice document from LYNX Services‏". With the invoices attached as a pdf, its easy to save them all to a certain location so it also helped me with organization.

SGT,
Unfortunately, I did not request e-mails. I log onto MYTRIX periodically to see what's been paid. It's a bore.

Had to bring this one back.

For those that EFT, since the have your account info to deposit money, what happens when you get a job cancellation after you have all ready been paid for what ever reason, do they have the right to remove money from your account?

I don't think it would be possible to get paid in advance of doing a job? And how could it be cancelled after being paid for completed work?
No, they can't remove money from your acount.

Splitpit,

I may be wrong but I think SGT meant a job "charge back" not cancellation.

When I was running EFT with Harmon and they had a charge back, they would just subtract it from future payments. Legally, I really don't think they can access your business account for collection of funds unless you authorize it.

Glassdoc,

I've had a few charge backs that were over two years old (both were on failed lease returns). Kind of stinks but when you sign up with the networks expect this to happen.
