Default Re: Lynx Additional Fee

Just received my clarification of this contract change. I would highly suggest that any participant email lynx management and ask for the same. When a reply is sent back, print off a copy to keep with your contract. There are no fee changes (6% or $15 min.) as these fees were already in the contract. As I suspected, the change is with certain Insurance Companies with which these fees, if any, will be split!

thanks Dave I kinda had a feeling it would be something like that. People always get all worked up over things thinking that lynx is out put us out of business. The fact is everyone of us has a boss, whether you get all retail or referrals you have a boss and you will do what they say if you wanna make money. Ultimately for retail the customer is you boss and for insurance referrals your main boss is Lynx. Thanks for clarifying that for us Dave

I also got email from Participant Management saying that there was no change, this has always been in the contract. If this is totally true, then why did the amend it???

This is a quote from the reply I received from Lynx.... "The contract change allows for a fee to be charged to BOTH Insurance Company and Retail Glass Shop- this would be a split fee. The previous contract language allowed for EITHER glass shop or Ins Co to pay the fee, but did not allow it to be split between two parties." Again, I'd suggest you to contact Lynx for a clarification.
