Default Fleet Accounts

I read the article about email, sales letters, and face to face sales, but I would just like some input on each of them. I have been in sales for quite sometime, and i agree face to face sales is the best way to go and cold calling works well with me to, but as far as the type of fleet? What strategies were used? Etc? I know it will vary per region but just would like some outside info. what have your businesses found successful fleets?

Thanks
Craig

Default Re: Fleet Accounts

I personally target any fleet that I see on the road as much as I am and with clean vehicles.. If company image means enough to the boss to have the trucks/vehicles kept clean then maintenence issue's won't be a problem.. If the trucks are nasty dirty, I pass them by.. If they won't spend money to make "themselves" look good, you know they won't care about the windshield being broke.
