It is ironic, I was speaking with Steve Shaw at Lynx the other day about an unrelated issue but he brought up the Aquapel product while we were discussing an aviation application. He did say that it works on the molecular level and will not migrate should a chip occur. One thing I did not ask was...
Is there a shelf life of the product? Seems like a good add on for fleet applications with multiple units but not sure with the small profit margin it is worth individual retail sales unless you are doing a chip and up sell it or they are coming to you for the application. For me, time and gas vs. profit does not make sense if you plan on making it a stand alone mobile service.

I would not have it as a stand alone product. You are right... To do it mobile you would probably just break even or lose money.. Time, Gas (3.30 a gallon), ect... But I sure would advertise the heck out of it at a tent location. Because if people didnt have a chip, they might be intrigued to spend 15.00 on location since they are in the area...

How about tyre seal for fixed site locations.

I googled it and it seems like it would be an interesting add on.. BUT, whats the startup costs, and if it is something that would catch on, how come people like Belle Tire wouldnt offer it.. Since now they offer Windshield Replacement and Repair... LOL

Now if I am correct Belle tyre sells tyres, would you sell something that makes the glass virtually unchipable as an upsell. I have no idea of the start up costs as I do no want to add anything to my business as most of my time is spent training and not repairing nowadays. As most of you know I do pdr as well as glass and boy do those two keep you busy if you want to be.
