Default Finally In!

This is my first post, so ill start by introducing myself.
My name is Jesse and i live in Northen NJ. Ive been reading in the forum a few months now. Ive been trieing to join it for awhile now to. It kept cancelling my names and never letting me post. But Finally here i am! So is anyone else from NJ? Right now i only do car dealerships which has been working out pretty good. But from reading about how some of you get so many insurance referrals it made want to try as well. Could anyone give some advice on how i would start to get networked?
I was reading about Edirect Glass it sounds like it helps you to get networked with lynx, and safelite, correct? I have a safelite like 10 minutes from my house, will that affect the amount of referrals i get? Any suggestions you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the windshield repair forum Jesse.

You don't need a parent ID to bill Safelite direct through their website, but if you wish to utilize eDirectGlass or other billing services to keep all of your insurance billing in one place you will need to get one.

If you choose to sign up with eDirectGlass through Delta Kits we help you obtain your credentials from Safelite, Lynx and Metryx. The whole process takes just a few days, and there is no extra charge for these services.

As for referrals, I wouldn't get your hopes up. We do have some customers that get quite a few referrals, but I think most technicians will tell you that they would starve to death if they counted on referrals from any of the TPAs.
