I am new to this forum and the windshield repair business, have been reading this forum for some time now and it is a great place to be. I have a new windshield kit on the way and after practicing with it I want to start out part time.
Just want to get an idea of how much business to expect from insurance company referals, seems like a good way to get started in the biz. I have a full time job and want to see if I can make a living in windshield repair. Also it is nice to see some familier names from some other places I visit.

Welcome to the forum CPR. In eleven years I have been in this business. I hardly ever get referals from insurance companies. Don't expect any, there are even lawsuites going on right now because of this. Learn to get your own business. If you expect insurance referals pack a big lunch.
