Let us stop following threads to no conclusion.
Please have the courtesy of posting an answer as to whether or not advice offered by the many techs on this forum who offer free advice worked or whether it didn't. How do I do this and what should I do in this case doesn't mean anything to the those who read the various postings concerning advice and looking for the answer unless the original person who posed the question eventually replies as to which advice helped. If any. I tried that and it worked. I tried that and it didn't work. Whatever. I see too many questions posed that in spite of what I think is good answers remain unresolved simply because some people don't bother to repost and tell the rest of us that their problem was either solved or remains un-solved because they tried someone's solution. Asking a question as to how best to deal with a particular star-break; reading free advice from ten experienced people as to how; and, then not having the courtesy to other new people who are following that thread to tell them what worked and what didn't work is not fair. The next time a remedy works for YOU, let the rest of us know it worked. Or let the rest of know you tried this or that and it didn't work. Either way, the rest of us learn something. |

Your right on point with that statement Desertstars!
As a new member I've been spending an hour a day reading all the previous post to try and educate myself better in windshield repair. Always great advice.... but many times I'm left more confused because of not seeing repsonses to see if your sugestions really worked for somebody. All of us.... including myself need to find some type of closer regarding these topics. I think as a group, helping one another in providing the best quality in repair services will only inhance all our efforts, profits and a bigger share of the market that is has been controled by replacement companys.
