In answer to R1,s earlier question im serios if its bigger than 3" I pass I get enough work without having to fix big cracks I really feel it doesnt do our buisness any good to fix them(just my opinion) They always seem to be noticable and i live in a state where the yearly auto inspection would fail most cracks anyway. In answer to his other question no I dont have a shop im mobile repair only I work my fleet customers 2 mornings a week and arrive at the carwash/rental car I recently rented a bay in at 11am till 3or4 5 days a week then go home. I average about 5 insurance claims a day and the fleet stuff. When I was hungrier I would do some cracks but just dont think I was doing the customer any favors. Happy customers spread the word. I do have a relationship with a local replacement guy pays me $25 refferal and waives up to $300 of the customers deductible. I only send him a couple a month. he sends me maybe 5. Im not knocking the guys that do cracks I just choose not to.

We don't even bother repairing cracks for fleet accounts unless they are willing to pay over and beyond fleet rates.

I thought the original question referred to private vihicles.

Just wondering if anyone is having this problem ? The other day I had 4 crack repairs ](*,) , 3 on a car lot and 1 for retail 3 were vertical and very hard to fill the other was horizonal and filled easily ,I have never really noticed this before. Did it just happen ? Or is this generally case. I'm not big on crack repair but I will do it.

sunshine wr,

You opened a old thread which seems to be in conflict with the current crack posting thread. Might be a little confusing for some. Was there a question from this old thread that you felt still needed a reply to? If so please indicate soecifically what it is.

Thanks
