That post was 4 yrs old. You are a little late responding to the post... Did the bottle just end up on your water front over there? Ha.

I just thought it would be nice to go back a couple of years and see how the questions have changed. Also wondering where some of the old names have gone.

No I do not get kickbacks and when and if I find a better resin I will let you all know. As for bringing back old posts, why not? Things are changing all the time some of the so called best resins 4 years ago are no longer available.
Somehow over the last year or two the fun has gone out of this forum, it seems everytime we try and get a post running it gets shot down with remarks like this. Just adding LOL to the end of a line is not enough to put right the damage you have done Splitpit. I suppose deflamation of my character is not something you have a problem with. Just kidding LOL

I moved 12 posts to the water cooler under a new thread name: Carrying it too far? We got a bit off track here.
For the record, no one gets kickbacks for posting positive comments about Delta Kits windshield repair products on this forum, and no one except competitors and those affiliated with competitors is edited due to the fact that they do not like Delta Kits products. Just follow the terms of service, be honest about who you are, and be honest about your motives, and you will find there is quite a bit of freedom here. However I simply don't have time to explain every action I take as the windshield repair forum moderator, so if you don't trust me it's probably best that you find a forum that you feel has better moderation. Regrettably from time to time we lose forum members due to the fact that I will not run the forum the way they would like me to, but more often than not people drop off because they simply get too busy to post. Let's face it, the reason most of us love the windshield repair business is because it is relatively simple, so after 30,000 posts or so it is pretty hard to come up with new topics sometimes. That makes it a little redundant for the old timers, but new technicians report to me that they find great value in the wisdom shared here.

I really like Poly Lites long crack resin as well as G.P's.Heck I've even used G.P's and poly lites on nice clean bulls eye breaks as it has a good Refractive Index (looks closest to glass when cured).Just recently got a magnibond and pit filler sample in the mail. Will evaluate it on all types of repairs soon. Oh and thanks for the bag of peanuts that came with the sample Brent! Gotta like Deltas customer service.I did finish testing the delta pit filler though and it is an excellent product. It is nice and hard and seems to adhere well i noticed when scraping it down.It doesn't seem to peel back like some competitors that I have tried in the past.L.R.super hard pit filler is also a good product.

Toab, Take a look at the DK "Plate Glass Resin" for pit resin. Do not be fooled by the name. Great performance.

Lemataj , Are using any of the previously posted resins if so which ones and what types of break failures are you having? are the breaks dry ? long crack? dirty? premature resin cure? It's probably not climate but the conditions under which the break is done. JMO
