I don't do cracks that long on a regular basis myself, because I'm not happy with the cosmetics of the repairs. I suggest replacement simply for this reason. I can however tell you that when I have done such repairs they did not seperate or spread in a weeks time or six months time. As for any repair I do I do not simply "fill it up with resin", I bond the glass. Otherwise at least 50% of the repairs I do would crack out. I feel that is an irresponsible and uninformed comment on your part.

GG
I regularly repair long cracks, and my comeback rate is well below 1%. A properly repaired WS is as strong as the original, estheticaly pleasing(should be pratically inviisable) and a substantial economy for the end user. I stand behind my work 100% with a lifetime warrenty. I have seen some of my jobs following an accident(by invitation of the owner) and the crack has held up as well as the rest of the WS. I am aware Jeff that it is not the position of this forum to advocate long crack repair, but the info is coming from a user and not Delta Kits(heck I don't even use there products, but this forum is by far the best), so please leave it here if your law advisors allow you to.
