Default Help a college student out????

I am working on a theoretical project for a Product Marketing class... Curious if someone could help me find statistics on the Windshield replacement industry i.e. number of windshield's replaced, average cost of replacement, cost to manufacture windshields, cost to installation site etc... Basically I am looking for any sort of data I could turn into a financial projection for a new windshield product... Our idea is to use the idea seen in sunglasses currently which change degrees of tint depending on UV rays. We know the legality of this is shady at best, but are working on a theory that if we could limit the tint to maximum of 35% that we could convince states that it would be beneficial to the safety of drivers to allow this. I know we are assuming a lot but... I have to put out a financial projection and since there are no established companies that are publically traded I am having severe trouble finding industry numbers.... If anyone could help I would be most appreciative... Thank you for your time,

Tyler Howard

try going to www.glass.org. from there you can access some info and also the link to autoglass magazine. also try looking into AAA because they keep a lot of stats on file also.
