hi evryone,
got a two part question for ya, first i have a fairly LARGE crack in my windshield and i used this stuff called PERMATEX FLOWABLE SILCONE WINDSHIELD AND GLASS SEALER. anyways , got some excess on the windshield and now i am having trouble getting the stuff off can anyone help me. PART 2 - i am interested in getting into the windshield repair biz, i live in southern california and my question is does anyone know if there are any training classes out this way. |

i can only try to answer your first question. First I would try the scraping with a razor blade. If that don't work try washing it with Coca Cola, Ive seen it used to dissolve stubborn residue on new windshields when they have a hazy residue that won't wash off. Wash windshield with glass cleaner after using Coke.
