I'm new at this as well, but here is what I have learned so far. YOUR BUSINESS PLAN IS KEY! You really need to plan out your expenses and forcased initial monthly revenue for the first year. I overlooked things like business taxes, insurance, payment processing fees, marketing costs and website fees...

Paying Employees
For those of you who have employees, how do you pay them? Do you pay hourly or per job? Do you use a payroll service? What about taxes and workmans comp insurance?
I'm wanting to hire someone, but all of this is becoming overwhelming and costly. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.
