Re: Shading

I've seen an umbrella out there that is supposed to do that. I cannot imagine it being big enough to actually be a good thing. And would definitely not trust it to block UV. But most of all, I would never want to attach anything like that to someone's car, there is to much that can and will go wrong...

Re: How To Raise My Prices I'm the cheapest in town.

Never have I tried, or wanted to be the cheapest in this business. One of the reasons why I got into this business was because of the poor work that somebody did on my car, and later I find out that they were cheaper than anybody else. Now I know why. I don't just sell a repair, but like many others...

Re: Difficult Vehicle

I hate it when that happens. But if I cannot reasonably reach it for a repair, I would have to refrain from the job. Its all to easy to create more damage either to the vehicle or my back.

Lynx Price Increase

I never received any notice of a cost increase but they have gone from 9 dollars to 12 dollars. I do not do a lot of lynx but that is ridiculous. Is that an across the board increase or just me and my area?

Re: Could this have been damaged during replacement?

Having trouble making out exactly what I am seeing. But from what I see looks like a rust issue where the glass shop scratched the paint when the glass was cut out sadly, and then failed to at least use a primer to prevent rusting.

Re: Delta vs. Glasspointe

When the glass is practically straight up and down I just use about twice the resin amount that I normally use.

Re: Back glass replacement on 2008 Dodge Avenger

Mon son's 2008 Dodge Avenger had the back glass shattered. There is no gromett. The glass appears to be bonded to the metal with a 1/4 inch thick rubber layer. Should this be removed and replaced with a urethane sealant? Is there a replacement rubber piece? Maybe this piece is used at the factory i...

Re: Proset Windshield Setting Tool What Do You Think?

Looks scary and complicated to me. I use the Aegis Solo setting tool suction cups only on the glass, works great for me.
