Equalizer WRC483 Kleer-Vu Windshield Repair Kit

This kit appears to have little use, but it has been sitting for a little while. I did a detail job for a customer in exchange for it. I was going to keep it as an extra, but I already have several kits, figured I'd put this up here and see what happens. The detail was $190, but I'd be willing to se...

Re: LIABILITY INSURANCE FOR US

Dave M.... Each year I renew my policy, I ALWAYS clarify with my agent what is covered and what is not, this keeps me well informed and not in the dark should an issue ever arise. I have specifically told my agent what I do & don't do, and he has reassured me time and time again that I'm covered for...

Re: LIABILITY INSURANCE FOR US

If you guys can get something in writing from your agent regarding insurance paying for a new windshield that breaks while you are performing a repair, I'll start going to church service with my wife every Sunday! Dave M.... Are you under the impression or just believe that there are NO COMMERCIAL ...

Re: LIABILITY INSURANCE FOR US

You just need to do a google search for commercial insurance and start making calls. If RLI is too expensive for you, then I don't know what other info you're looking for... I'm in Austin and I have a $1 million policy that also has garage keepers coverage (this will help when you crack out a windsh...

Re: New WSR tech, Austin TX.

Hi guys, first time post for me. Like the forum! I've been doing WSR's for a few months and am currently looking for tent sites in Austin, TX. I've found a good site that is at an unclaimed parking lot by a highway, but will need a roadside vendor permit in order to use it.. I'm working on that and...

Re: Quickfixxrepair

Eco Steam--- Looks like I should open another location in Austin. Ye Haw Chipfixman.... Seriously, this is a forum where windshield repair techs, like myself, come to and share experience, knowledge, etc... and the only thing you have to say is something childlike? Are we on the playground in grade...

Re: GT Glass Eliminator repair kit, how much is it worth

It would depend on the condition, how long you've had it, it's use, etc...without seeing it or anything like that, it's hard to determine a value if any. You also need to consider the fact that it's not even listed on GT's site any longer and has not been for sometime, I would say at least a year if...

Re: removing waterspots off windshields

Steel wool works for me. Use the finest grade which is "0000 " I would agree, but make sure you use a liquid/lube of some sort as well, window cleaner, a carnauba cleaner wax, which will also leave a barrier, somewhat like rainX or the like. Yes everyone, at the customers request, I will wax their ...
