I hate glass scratch removal. Read some of my posts on it. I do not use the Delta system so I can not help you with instructions on use of it but I do know that tempered glass is easy to break. If you get to much heat or pressure......pop. Most scratches in laminated glass is hard to get out and if ...

Delta,

I have several pit repairs that are about 7 months old. None have come out yet. I feel that they will stay forever. They are clear and have not yellowed. I am very happy with the way they look and with the way they are staying.

I do these all the time. I have a 1973 play car and it has tons of them on it. It is the original windshield and it looks great now. I use my probe to scratch the pit. I go back and forth very fast about 30 to 40 times. This removes any loose glass and makes it so the pit filler will stick. I then c...

safelite denial

Scott

This is what happened to me. Maybe State Farm is changing the way they do the telephone scripts and want to send the customer somewhere that they have a vested interest in.

Dave you got it. I am upset and want to know if anyone else has had this happen to them. I understand how to collect my money and have made lots more by not trying to use insurance money. I just thought that I would try to do it using the insurance company this time. I had MY customer told not to us...

Well I guess the IRS plays fair. You know the rules and you just have to play by them. Insurance companies do not do this. They make up rules that we have to play by and then they change them to make themselves more money. I think I like the IRS better than State Farm.

Yes I have read plenty on networks and I am not going to get involved with them. I think that I am going to stick with the way I have been doing it and leave it up to the customer to get reimbersed from their insurance company. I still don't think it is fair for them to make it hard on the insured t...

OK I finally did it. I did not ask the customer to pay for the repair and I said that we would have there insurance pay for it. I usally get paid for the repair and have the customer send a copy of the bill to their insurance company to get the money back. Well this time I tried it with the insuranc...

I have the scratch removal system from Glass Mechanixs. The damaged area was in the lower area of the windshield on the passenger side. Yes there was some distortion if you looked at if from the outside in but when on the inside of the auto you have to look down at the ground to see it. It was on a ...
