Curing under pressure
I see online there’s alot of people curing under pressure. They put the curing light right up against the injector. My question is what keeps the resin from curing at the injector tip or in the injector.

Re: Accidentally drilling all the way through
Thanks for the replies but my question was this. If you accidentally drill all the way through the first layer of glass is it still possible to do a good repair. If someone drills all the way through the entire windshield they need to have their drill taken away. Haha!

Accidentally drilling all the way through
Has anybody ever accidentally drilled all the way through the first layer of glass. And if so is it still possible to do a quality repair?

Re: Company car
I use my personal vehicle. I do wsr on the side so I don’t have a need for a company vehicle just yet. If business keeps growing like it is I’ll probably get a gas saver hatchback. As long as you’re vehicle is clean, presentable, and doesn’t leak oil on your customer’s driveway that’s most important.

Re: Greetings and introduction
I would suggest have a bottle of resin just for practicing. If you haven’t used the whole bottle, you haven’t practiced enough. Also if you can’t make it to a training class, use the tech support. Delta Kits has great tech support. Good luck!

Vacuum pump style repair system
Anybody have experience using the electric pump style repair system. I saw a few videos on line. Was just wondering how they compare to the hand operated bridge that most of us use.

Drilling
Is it always necessary to pop a bullseye when drilling into a break? Or can you just drill and then fill?

Need advice on a chip repair
I have a chip a little smaller than a quarter. It has a pretty significant impact point and it has 2 legs extending across from each other. A few questions. Do I need to drill this chip? Should I terminate the legs? How would you guys do this repair? I attached a picture.

Screw type vs spring type injector
Screw type vs spring type injector. What's your preference? Screw type is all I've ever used and I'm happy with it.
