Re: New and Self employed

KCBen, let me make it easier for you, ever hear that phrase, "KEEP IT SIMPLE" ??? Then why buy a more expensive and more complicated system, I bought from Delta's competition years ago, l regretted it later.  Ever hear of people creating a problem and then only them having the solution so it makes t...

Re: Shop Towel Substitute?

Good luck on finding a cheaper way to apply Infinity than a paper towel. I do see where you are coming from, trying to be thrifty because to you it really seems to matter, I would encourage you to spend time on finding more work sooner than spending time trying to nickel and dime on supplies, making...

Re: Marketing Advice?

$8 for headlight restoration, I think someone wasnt being honest with you or they simply didnt really know what they were talking about, I dont know of a vendor who does any service on a dealers car lot for $8. Put this aside and keep asking real dealers. Ive seen crappy work at dealers where a guy ...

Re: Help needed from uk windscreen repair pro's

Can I give a shout out for Screenman, if I were looking for training in the UK he is the only guy I would consider, his experience and info would be invaluable, the £495 has to be an absolute bargain for Delta and Screenmans personal training. I saw an article about Screenman in a trade magazine som...

Just a suggestion, why not save your old toothbrushes, trim them down so the bristles are shorter and stiffer, it should help to remove that sanding dust...

Re: This is scary.

Well that was pure agony from start to finish, Judy looked the part, nice and tidy, and was wearing gloves but that's about the only good I could see... When finished the damage looked no better than before she started at least in my opinion, there were so many negatives to this job, too many to lis...

Re: Having a somewhat difficult time getting things started.

Some people I talk to think that their insurance is going to go up if I bill their insurance for the repair. Have you considered trying to sell those people a cash repair? If they get a chip that cracks they will finish up spending even more on a replacement deductable, at that point they could be ...
