Running off a generator

Post by gt_repair »

I bought a cheep pep boys 2 cycl generators (175.00). last year or so to see if it was cost afective to have one. I used it for about 10 - 15 jobs on site with no power and it was doing good till it got harder to start. and I hate 2 cycl's. It finally died a while back so I was working off a colman 800 watt inverter but that was a pain in the back side running the truck with the hood open.... I went on to Ebay last week and bidd on a HONDA 1000 watt 4 cycl, it came in yesterday and I throw it in the truck this morning and low and behold I received a call today to do a headlight job in a parking lot referred from a cust. I did two weeks ago with the inverter.

It has already started to pay for its self.... Well worth the money.
ONE pull and starts up, and quite. SWEET

Ya got ta spend money ta make money $$$$$$$.
