Wet Sanding Dry Sanding

Post by wrblackburn »

I have been in the HLR business for 4 years. But I'm always looking for new ways to improve my service.
I'd like some feedback from other forum members about there view of dry sanding versus wet sanding.
I use the Griot orbital sander from Delta. What is the correct speed recommended for sanding.
What is the courses grit sandpaper recommended for aggressive sanding and what is the finest grit sandpaper used
for the final sanding before the clear coat is applied.

Based on the fact that your question is more or less the core of what the labor is to get the best possible finish and get the clearest headlights lens possible, I suggest you do a search on the forum. This has bee discussed over and over and a lot of good information is readily available.
