Do Insurance companies pre qualify breaks

Recently was going to take the day off HSG called night before with a customer so I decided to set up the next day for the customer being they were driving an hour to me. When the customer arrived the chip is twice the size of a dollar bill and I am not a magician. Had to turn away that customer being I don't do replacements did pick up two new customers while there and closed early. LOL here is a pic of the damage
