Rotary tool too big

Post by HoustonGuy »

I bought this tool at Walmart but when I got home the drill bits I bought for drilling the windshield were too small and the tool would tighten enough to hold it. Should I just buy a drill that has those tips keep closing until they can tighten on the small bits.

What you need is a 1/16" collet, or if you haven't used that drill yet you might consider one of Delta Kits new drills that include the correct collet, and have the advantage of being smaller, lighter, and charge by USB so they can be plugged into any 12V phone charger. Both the collet and drill can be found on this page. https://www.deltakits.com/?s=collet&product_cat=0

The new Delta drill is brilliant, so nice to hold and use, plenty of power and long lasting charge, once again Delta have come up with the goods.
