In my area of Michigan these sale for around $175 installed with no insurance. With insurance it varies from company to company as to what local glass replacement services are willing to cover off your deductible.

For your 6" crack repair (if somebody decides to tackle it) should cost anywhere between $60-$80.00 but who knows...might find somebody cheaper! I still wouldn't touch it for both cosmetic and future liablity issues. My suggestion is to have it replaced by a reputable shop.

How did she now that is all we use also.:) Just kidding.

The nail polish drys fast enough to were not much got into the crack. I have done it in the past a few times and it will work, but the cosmetics will not be as good.

I hope you find a good shop that does like the challange.

As I tell my customers DON"T USE THE NAIL POLISH AGAIN!.

That is way they call it FINGERnail polish, not windsheild repair resin...

I hope you know I am messing with you in a good way.....

Sarygirl, PM stands for private message and we use it here rather than e-mails so you don't end up getting a lot of spam. Forums like this are very public and often targeted by spammers. If you PM someone you can exchange e-mail addresses privately without all the risk.

Just click on a forum members name and choose private message.

Thanks for your cooperation.
