I see no one has responded to you yet, so here goes. I have always used Novus but any kind of plastic polish or buffing compound will do just fine. I'm sure Delta has a very good polish and maybe Brent or Kgobin has already sent a free sample to you.

I use Delta's pit polish. It works perfectly each time and it is competitively priced.

I use polishing wheel on the end of a dremel or my finger

Time after time, I get a small brown mark in the hole after using pit polish. Is there a translucent pit polish out there? Thanks

You must be leaving an air bubble in it then, certainly you do not have a nice flat surface, a picture would be great.

Get a large bottle of Meguires or other liquid car wax. IMO it works better than any pit polish I've bought.
