Steel wool works for me.
Use the finest grade which is "0000 "

I would agree, but make sure you use a liquid/lube of some sort as well, window cleaner, a carnauba cleaner wax, which will also leave a barrier, somewhat like rainX or the like. Yes everyone, at the customers request, I will wax their windows, it's effective, and doesn't cost much to do.Mr Bill wrote:Steel wool works for me.

If you do it dry, you can and probably will scratch a windshield, even if it's fine scratches, they still suck to have!
