Large RVs and Semi Trucks

Hi, in my area I have a high potential to work on large RVs and maybe some large trucks like a Semi. Is there anyone out there who might have some pointers for this? Other than their size is there any difference to the repair or restrictions to be aware of?

Sometimes the glass is a bit thicker and more vertical but neither of those things present much of a problem unless you are using a very heavy injector with standard suction cups. Visors that hang too far over the top of the windshield can limit the space you have to mount your bridge which may cause you some issues with large bulky injectors but not a problem for compact bridge/injector designs. I would also steer clear of injection systems with hoses or electrical cords. They are just too cumbersome to be efficient when working on multiple vehicles.

Tool belts are handy when crawling up and down ladders all day long.

School buses and large fleets of semi-trucks were my bread and butter for a number of years. I really enjoyed doing them because having a number of vehicles to do at each stop is highly profitable.

I kept 4-5 bridges with me and at times had them all working at the same time. I also had multiple lights, and sun shields to improve efficiency and profitability. Investing a few hundred extra dollars up front will definitely bring a good return in the long run.

Feel free to call me if you have questions about fleet work.

I could easily have written the same as Brent did, I still service the same type fleets as he did. Fleets are where the big money is, they are prepared to pay for quality and reliability.
