Being mobile only, I see no reason to use my home address. I use a Post Office Box number on everything!

Having a physical address allows you to get placed on Google maps and improves your organic local search results so if you have a web page and want it to be found easily when someone in your area searches for windshield repair it is helpful to have a physical address. That is important for some mobile guys but not for all.

I found a great solution! UPS mailbox services. It's like a P.O. Box but they give you an actual street address. The added bonus is they can accept and sign for packages and certified mail.

In order to form an LLC in my State you must you a physical address that has someone there during normal business hours to accept legal notices. The alternative is to hire a registered agent to do this.

In addition, the UPS mail service address will allow me to show up on Google map searches.

Seems like a win win for me and at about the same price as a typical P.O. Box.

I hope I'm wrong but you might have trouble using the UPS Mailboxes location for Google Maps. We have several businesses all running out of the same building, and it caused all kinds of problems with Google maps, until we separated the businesses into different suite numbers. Might get away with it if you use the physical address and then use your mailbox number as a suite number, but not sure that will work eithe, just a thought. Let us know how it works out.
