Is there anybody currently using the FEIN oscillating tool to cut out windshields? Or the BTB cut out Tool? Was considering adding one of these to my arsenal, wondering if some of you have any experience with either? I have a bad shoulder and could use all of the help that I can get. I will appreciate any feedback. Thanks

I’ve used the Fein many times over 28 yrs and BTB on occasion. . Don’t be afraid to use a variety of tools to remove the glass. The goal is to do it without damage to the vehicle or as little as possible as many new cars already have factory set rubbing against paint. Fein, BTB and other plunge or oscillating tools can be tremendous help in separating glass from difficult or inaccessible glue beds. Just be very aware of tip of blade so as to not damage interior or body panels. Use lubricant ( I use water) and work slow and don’t bind the blade.
