Placemat Ad

Post by SGT »

Just thought I would share our new placemat ad with everyone. It will be in 2 different diner's, same owner, 75,000 in each diner, they last approx. 4-5 months. Paid 300.00. Seemed like a good deal for our area. So why not give it a shot. Any feedback is welcomed.

Sorry about the file. It is beyond the size limit. I will send to Jeff to see if he can make it fit.

Ok, question. Will you be sharing add space with other companies or is it just your company on the add? Is it all about you with pictures and stuff?? If its just you, then I think this is a great idea and I am stealing it. ;)

Coister,

As you know first hand I am always willing to share. Oh by the way I have started getting feedback from the new business cards I shared here previously. As for the placemat deal, I will be on with other business but my specific space approx 2.5" x 2.5" will be all about me with pic's. If you liked the card and flyer I sent you you will like this. I figured for the lousy 300.00 to try it, why not. 4-5 months of exposure I am bound to pull something in. Couple of repairs and its paid for. Give me a call, I will send you one. No need to steal:) Hopefully Jeff will get it up on the forum for all to see.

Side note: Did you try that technique I told you about? If so what did you think? I have had great results with that on the right type of breaks.

SGT, I hope your ad works well for you.

About 12 years ago I tried the grocery shopping cart basket advertisement at one of the local Safeway's here in town. It was a pretty big store. Lots and lots of shopping carts, and ever cart with my ad on it. It was a very nice and professional looking ad. Only problem was it cost me about $500 bucks and I only got one call, and they were looking for someone to replace their busted windshield. So for me, that one sucked.

I think your placement ad should pull a few customers in for you. Let us know how it goes.

Good Luck

We have put our 4x9 card in multiple locations and it has worked really well. For us auto detailers and parts stores seem to be most profitable. good luck Dawn

Brain,

Nice setup and artwork on your add! Just had a question? Do you still plan on giving $5.00 back to insured customers when deductible is already waived?

I tried something similar to this a few years back but it wasn't on dinner paper placemats, it was on pizza box coupons for a nationally recognized chain.

Cost was $600 for same size add and 4-5 month run to be distributed among 10 local franchise stores.

First couple weeks I was pretty excited when getting 5 hits. Unfortunately that was about it. Turns out local managers stopped putting on pizza boxes after 3rd week and replaced with new coupon.

Just be cautious and make sure you police the distrubution of these advertisments. If you don't the same thing could happen to you!

I hope this works for you. Good Luck!

Thanks for the props. The artwork/content and prilimanary layout are my efforts but the final print layout I left up to them since it was to be put in such a small space.

As for insurance work, that is why the disclaimer is there. Not to be combined with any other offers. I am trying to sell all jobs as cash now so the 5.00 off applies to those customers.

Good tip on actual disbursment. They said 4-5 months so I will keep track by stoping in once and awhile.

I do not expect miricles from it, just a little more exposure and will go from there. Should be on tables next week so I will keep everyone posted.
