Hi all, I'm back from L.A. and want to answer the couple of questions that were posted right before I left.
1st to Wilz, The Gm power vac system is a good system and I continue to use them when I have more than one repair going at one time. The down side is that they are more bulky and you have to fill them before you mount them on the bridge system compared to Delta's system where you can mount the injector, line everything up and then put in the resin. GM's are a little more heavier and Delta's are lighter. Other than that I like both set ups and will continue to use them both.
Dave M- The training at Delta was a great refresher course for me, not only was I introduced to Delta's new bridge I found out that it was quicker to use than the set up I use now. I was taught crack repair differently from the way Delta taught it. The way I was taught consisted of a separate smaller injector system that you had to put a lubricant on the windshield to slide the injector along the path of the crack, where Delta's way was easier and quicker without using the injector method. It's just another method to add to my tool box.
The staff were great and very helpful and it was nice to meet other people that are involved in this great business. I wish I would have started this ten years ago when I first looked at it.
Thanks,
Robert
