C'mon now, you make me out to be such a tough moderator. Dave's a good guy and works for a good company. I know he didn't mean any harm and I didn't mean to pick on him. Just because we are competitors doesn't mean we can't be friends.
Oh well, I guess I can live with my reputation for being over protective of the windshield repair forum. I suppose it is somewhat deserved. After all, I have banned two people and edited a couple dozen posts for not following the rules in the past year.

What was this thread about? Oh yeah. hey Griff, best way to judge equipment is to see it first hand. Get to a trade show if possible. If not, find someone who might have several old kits they have tried in the past. You can get a pretty good idea of whats out there. Find the tools that you like to use and are easiest for you to use.
Re: Poor Dave
Thanks guys for the good advice and "sales pitch" alerts, fact is I am a used car salesman and it won't take me long to smell merchandise info being stuffed into my mail box. I have seen so many bad repairs most of which look like jelly rammed into a clear sandwich its just unreal this is why I first asked about quality repair kits.
I am talking with a forum member at the moment who is from a similar backgroud to me and lives not to far away, I am going to visit him on Thursday to see and watch him demonstrate his repairs, I am very much looking forward to it as I take another step forward.
Keep your suggestions coming guys, even yours Dave, but keep the $$$ out of it for the moment hehehe, or they'll have your resin removed !!!.
