Thinking about starting a mobil business

Hi,

I am just starting to look into starting a mobil windshield repair business. I am trying to find out what the competition is in my area from glass shops, auto body shops etc. I called Delta the other day and spoke to Tammy who was extremely helpful. I asked about equipment as well as the training class. I think I will look at attending the next class.

I am looking for any information I can get about the business, how to get started, equipment etc. Not really sure what to ask at this point since I am not yet in the business. I have been advised against a franchize such as Novus and was not leaning in that direction anyway.

Who on the forum whould be a good person to speak with obtain general knowledge about the business?

Welcome to the windshield repair forum Tom. Please fill out your profile. I think you will find that the old timers here are much more likely to respond to you and offer assistance if you do so.

Read through some of the threads already posted, and come up with a list of questions. Someone may chime in and offer to help you with "every" aspect of the business, but it really helps to have a starting point to work from.
