HI From the Bahamas!!!

Post by Chipsaway »

HI All!!!

I’m a new, yet old kid in town (If you Call 55/56 OLD) AND I’m annoyed!

(1) I live in Nassau Bahamas and I just had my windshield replaced about 3 weeks ago because of a “C” shaped stone crack on passenger side corner that went linear first to the left horizontally and then vertical. :(

Was there any way a Deltakit could have fixed that?

(2) Now here’s why am annoyed; just yesterday morning I was driving past a work-crew mowing the road side and I was not focus on what lie ahead. Mind you the Guy on the riding mower was kicking up debris and I guess was passing to close…should I go on?

This time it’s a very little star the size ‘lil smaller than a dime…so I guess this is right up our alley! :P !!

(3) We have at least 150k registered driver able roadsters and there was one Glass Tech I saw advertising but found out yesterday he’s back in the US attending school, should I see that this is an “Opening” to get into the biz with me being the “1st Customer”?

BTW would any of you folks know if there's a Glass Tech in the Bahamas using Deltakits :?:

Other questions to follow…thanks ever so much 8-)

Chipsaway,

I know of many technicians (I'm sure there are a few on this forum) that started out because of a similar experience, getting a chip on their own windshield. If you are only aware of one other person in your area, it sounds like there's a good potential market too. So, don't worry, you aren't alone, and many successful windshield repair technicians started out exactly where you were :) Have a great day and enjoy the tropical weather I'm sure you're accustomed to.

Thanks Adam for your kind words of encouragement... 8-)

I'm continuing my research and will find out from the Claims dept. of a major Insurance Co. how frequently they get claims for WSR and the like.
