HLR, Brands/Mfrs

Can any headlight be restored, or is there only a certain variety of materials that can be brought back or coating removed and reapplied?

Also how does the recoating hold up? Similar time frame until repeat as OEM coatings?

I dont have all your answer. Most of the lens are polycarbonate. I use to give an 18 month limited warranty. However due to the extreme heat in my area, I've had to redo several HL's the past month that I did between 12-14 months ago. Thats not too bad considering that I've done over 300 now. A few of those lens appear to have had something put on them, that caused the lens to fade again, because the lens had drip marks. I changed my limited warranty to 1 year a few weeks ago.
This year from May through Aug we had over 90 days the temp was above 90 degrees F. We had more than 15 days above 100F. Some Vehicles have glass. They normally can be replaced for $25 -$40 each, however customers get me to clean and polish them and I do apply a UV coating if its needed. The results are like new and the customer is satisfied because he has maintained the original parts to his vehicle.
