Nwra
Just out of curiosity how many of you belong to the Nwra?I have been in the w/s repair business for about 7 years and I am thinking about joining.

I joined them and got certified. Really nothing special. But at least you can keep up to date on glass news.

Im not a big joiner more used to people following me. Im sure some think that NWRA does alot for this buisness im not one. That said if you like what you see go ahead it cant hurt

I joined a few years ago and was certified by them. I just paid for my renewal certification. The lady said she would send my new certificate if requested. I told her I needed it for the insurance companies or rather Lynx & SCG. The patch looks good on the uniform and appears more professional. Customers seem pleased that I am certified by someone and they seem to trust me more with their vehicle.

what do you have to do to get certified? i just started practicing on some junk cars.i have done some bulls and stars.thay came out pretty good.going to do alot more practice before doing it on customers.i'm in maine so it's a little cold out.i am going to do a mobile service.is there any other online courses?

It depends on who you are trying to get certified through. There is the manufacture of your equipment then you have the NWRA (National Windshield Repair Association) and the NGA (National Glass Association).
