Unfortunately this happens to many of us in the repair industry. Not every single repair will be perfect and to your liking, we have to have something to beat ourselves up about, I do at least a few times a month.... Not so perfect repair, not so perfect headlight restoration, or not so perfect clean carpets.

Ultimately, as as long your customer is happy, then you should be happy.......or if you're gonna lose sleep, you could alway give te customer their money back :lol:

Every customer is different.
Some are super picky; others dont care what it looks like as long as it does not crack out.
Be thankful that you got an easily pleased customer and got paid.
Practice makes perfect.
Just keep on repairing lots of windshields and perfecting your technique.
