Just don't use silicone spray in a bodyshop. They will FREAK OUT!

Im been installing windshields for over 20 years. I know exactly what you are talking about. I have purchased several tools for this task. My favorite is still a battery post puller. occasionally it wont work because it wont fit in deep enough and so far I have been able to rock the wiper up and down until it releases. I get scared stuff is going to break but have been lucky so far

Some cars with the piston hood props you can pop them off and have access to the wiper arm

Seems like everyone has good methods ....I`ve had good results with a shot of penetrating lube and a couple/few taps with a hammer and a punch , striking the surface area were the nut would bottom out on the arm working "around" the shaft to break the corrosion . Since the arms usually aluminum and the shaft steel there is an electrolysis that causes the problem.
