I have found using buffer wheel in drill clears up pit filler much better than doing by hand.

Finger tip for me and rub until the polish is dry. I have used a buffer, be careful how much heat they can generate.

I always tell my customers the end product will look like a dried raindrop.

I use premium pit polish with a paper towel or a cork.

I used drill machine, cork, paper towel and I get the same results every time. I will say if the customer is present the machine looks more impressive :o makes them feel they’re getting a good repair and moneys worth.

Make sure that you use a very sharp good quality blade, there a huge difference to the end product. Also do not chisel the excess pitfill.

I recently started using a car wax/polish I happened to try out one day and it worked way better than any "pit polish" i've ever bought. Experiment around with some you might have laying around. It's just stuff you can buy at the auto center anyway.
