From \'Lurker\' to Goin\' Live!
Good evening, everyone! First off, I want to thank all of you for giving me all of the information, direction and encouragement that a newbie could ever hope for. This forum and its members was my primary source of knowledge for getting my own wsr biz off the ground. I will be going live on Tuesday morning and already have several appointments and a fertile referral source in place. I am SO excited to be working for myself and taking control of my financial future that I can barely sit still! I cannot thank all of you enough and I will do my best to be a valuable contributor to the forum -and to other newbies- from this point forward. Thanks again! -Greg

Best of luck Greg and welcome. I hope you find that fertile territory day one!!!
Scott :~)

My best mentor one said " be fair with your priceing but never too low, be honest with your customer/competition, when the day is done be sure you have done "good works", and always leave something of value on the barganing table!!

Welcome, glassmasters.
Some others who still presently lurk--and, nothing wrong with that--might want to think about posting now and then if even no more than "hey, I read the forum".
But, you people are appreciated also even if you don't post so don't worry about it.
The fact that you are reading this forum in the first place indicates a certain amount of interest and dedication to our mutual business.
Contribute when you wish but hello even if you don't.

Just a suggestion .....
Welcome to the forum and great success with your business. I did Glass Repair in Vegas for a while. Its a good market, make sure you have a tent for the summer time. Gets really hot their and its easy to crack windshields out.
I would say good luck but in my opinion luck has nothing to do with it. It you work your business hard you will make it.
