BNI didnt cost a thousand dollars a year when I was a member. It was more like $300. Of course that was a couple of years ago, and it might be that their membership cost varies according to region? These are all good groups, generally speaking, and they do support their own members with good referrals. Be sure to attend all their functions,not just the weekly meeting. The point is to make as many contacts as possible.
