Good point, glassdoc.

painintheglass I thought you would say you air dry or blow dry your injectors. Must be some dirty cotton where you come from... My towels are certified by the U.S.C.T.A. (United States Clean Towel Association) as being lint and dust free.

Really, I can verify after years of doing thisit is NOT a problem. In fact, one of the things that sets me apart from others in my area is how good my pits are... clear, flat, and polished.

Dirty tabs could be a problem...

Another thing to try is to cure the pit, remove tab and scrape it, and then do it again. You might find the second cure and scrape yields better looking finish. Of course, this is only if the problem is with the surface of the pit fill.
