Other than cosmetics can anyone give a good reason for not doing these types of repairs. I do these repairs when a customer asks and have decent cosmetic results and excellent structural results.

If you use 50 cents worth of resin on anything but an extremely long crack you must be pouring it on the ground. That's a lot of resin. I understand your point Souchie.

What do you guys consider a large pit? What injectors are you using? I have only once ran across a pit that my injectors did not cover completely(Glass Mechanix). They will cover a 1/2 inch hole without a problem. And a large pit doesn"t use more resin other than an extra drop of pit filler. For the large pit that I did, I used some pit filler to reduce the size on one side and filled as normal(A1 repair saw it this week-end, it's on my car) and it hasnt moved yellowed or budged (about 1 year old now).

Merci

Just so all here will know. I had the opportunity to visit with Yvan in the wonderful Province of Quebec, in Granby. He gets an A+. It became obvious to me right away, that he certainly know what he's doing. The glass shops up there better beware!
