I use a bottom load injector and use a few extra drops of resin per repair.

If its guarenteed for life why would you care what its made of? Plastics and Nylons dont transfer heat like the stainless ones easier to clean durable. Dont fall for the salespitch that Stainless is somehow better I have a couple of each try working in the cold with a metal injector its like hanging on to a ice cube if its been on the windshield for long. When it gets cold or hot so does the resin inside it.

Hey Dave C, my wife has a CDL and she's going with me for now on. She makes a pretty good windshield tech too. And to Screenman, Mafsu, and Glassstarz, I really appreciate all of your input on the fear I have about using plastic injectors and Im sold on what you told me so I'm going to look into using an injector like LR's or whatever else is on the market that is a preload injector. To CPR, please define what a bottom load injector is and what brand you use. I use a screw piston type injector and always thought it was a bottom load type. I thank all of you for your response on this. CWREPAIR

Im sure that Delta will build one that operates on the same principles being the great innovators that they are. Untill then I will look for something that can facilitate my needs at a cheaper price. CWREPAIR

I use Delta and Glass Mechanix tools, in my GM tool resin is loaded through the bottom seal, pull a slight vacuum then mount it to the bridge.

CPR, I've looked at the GM tool and wondered how it loaded. now I think I understand. Is the resin trapped at the bottom by an O-ring when you pull the vacuum so it doesn't bleed back out the top of the injector? Which Injector is that they offer that your using? I think this would be perfect for what I need it for. Thanks CWREPAIR
