The variable speed jepson drill is nice, but a sindle speed one can be converted just by changing the switch, a minor expense(10-15$).It works great, but I have no use for slower speeds.

Merci

Yeah I put one of the v.s. switches in one of mine... but when I swapped it to a different drill I pluged it in wrong and ruined it. :( Do you know where to get them?

If they do only sell to kit owners, then buying used may not be an option. That said, if someone does have a unit for sale "CHEAP!" Please PM me as I am interested. I wonder if they transfer status if you get a used system. I should/ will emil them.
Thanks guys!
By the way it does sound like the GW system is the one to go with right??

Glassdoctor, I have a friend who is interested in selling his. He is very meticulous/picky how he treats his equipment. It already has the variable speed switch and its almost brand new. PM me for more info.

When a current or original owner sells a scratch kit, they have to call Glas Weld and give the new owner info to them so the new owner will be able to buy compound and stuff. This is how they control their compound and p[ads. I think it is the way it should be also. I had 3 of these kits and sold one so I know how it works.

Doc

Any good tool service shop should have them in stock(they also fit makita drills amoung others). If they don't have a "listing for it bring in your drill and open it up so they can see the switch, they should be able to sell you one no problem.
