Boy, It's getting HOT in here.
Re: Have you purchased an eBook?
I"m glad I didn't start this thread. It really gets warm sometimes around here
Re: Have you purchased an eBook?
Although ebooks can be beneficial (and profitable), You could not possibly come up with an ebook or a manual as good or more informative than this forum.
Jeff has put together the "holy grail" of windshield repair help information by setting up this forum. And its FREE!!!!!!!
Where else can you get a wealth of information, AND get your questions answered by many people from different experiences and backgrounds. If the information that has been posted in this forum were condensed and put into a manual, Jeff could probably make a pretty good chunk of change. But I would bet that he would rather see the largeset human edited windshield repair help forum grow and grow and grow.
Jeff, my hat is off to you!

Re: Have you purchased an eBook?
So let me get this straight Brian Jeremiah of Jeremiah's Windshield Repair, are you suggesting that I did something wrong? I quote form your relpy "thenmake a post asking if anyone has read your book". I assure you I have nothing to do with the ebook in question except that I wanted to know if anyone had read it and what they thought of it. It is a bit insulting to me (IMHO), a newer member of this Forum to be questioned like that. I have been reading alot of posts and trying to gain knowledge from others, but if this is the way you treat "new"members of the community, I must say it is a bit disheartening. I can't speak for anyone else, but I just want to put my investment in WSR equipment to good use, use it correctly, and make money doing repairs in the process. Please consider this in the future when responding to my posts.

Re: Have you purchased an eBook?
Jeff2 ... I do have to admit the question may have been honest but the answers were from the folks who wrote the book .. judging from the answers alone I would say DO NOT BUY the book. As others have said in this thread you can find a fantastic treasure trove of info right here on the forums .. I have heard the ebook is limited in scope and does not approve of some of the more common ways of doing business in WSR .. I can't recall what it was but I was shocked to hear they didn't approve of it .. it was something like tents or door to door or something. If I remember correctly it was mainly how to advertise and get peopel to come to you, if my recollection is correct.
Re: Have you purchased an eBook?
Brian, Thanks for the advise, that is what I am searching for. I am trying to avoid the most common mistakes :eusa_doh:and learn from other. The forum has proven very valuable.

All I can say is Wow.
If I had caught this thread earlier, many of these replies would have been gone.

I can understand why one or two of the answers got this reaction, but attacking other members is not allowed on this forum. If there is a post that you have a problem with, click the button at the top right of that post (red & white triangle) and report it.

Okay suspicious...I know for a fact that the question was an honest question by someone not affiliated with that book. As far as the answers, I can understand the suspicion, but in the future, if you have a problem with a post, that's what the red & white triangle in the top left of each post box is for, to report it.screenman wrote:Call me suspicious but are these replies real. 3 replies and one question and only a few previous postings maybe advertising?????
Completely unacceptable, we have terms of service for a reason, and I would appreciate it if you would read them again. regulations/tos.html, especially #19.Jeremiahswindshieldrepair wrote:Now this is so pathetic it isn't even funny LOL
Nobody in their right mind would think this wasn't set up.... truly pathetic. let me suggest that you MARKET instead of making fake posts on a forum trying to promote your product.... unbelievable.
Busy yes...Wish I was asleep thoughscreenman wrote:I wonder how this one slipped past Jeff he must be asleep.

Again, as with Jeremiahswindshieldrepair above, please read our terms of service again regulations/tos.html, especially #19.Blind Squirrel wrote:I've always felt and have cautioned others to beware of those that put up a lot of posts on the forum. This usually means that they spend way too much time sitting and pontificating in front of a computer screen instead of out working and making a living.
