I have used dome and it works great, just love it.
You have a good Idea Sneck about glue it to the top of my truck with a logo and signage kinda like the pizza delivery!!

Hey guys - I was going to buy the dome until I was going to be charged over $20 for shipping. (ouch!!! :eusa_wall ). Is that what you've paid?

No way around it unfortunately, it's the dimensions that get us. On the plus side though, you could add a ton of things to go in the box for no additional shipping, since it's considered dimensional weight anyway.

That did come out like a salesman, didn't it? Yikes.
Anyway, sorry about that. All I mean is there is a lot of empty space in the box inside the dome, could be filled up to around 20 pounds (I think) without adding shipping cost.
The salesmen at Delta Kits will start thinking i'm wanting their jobs at this rate!

The UV dome looks like the space helmet that Ed Norton wore on "The Honeymooners".Look out its" Captain Video"!

Works great although those hard suction cups do not follow the curve very well and pop off sometimes.
