Re: Cold weather repair
Ill third the bi vent warm up. Ill always put it on heater (floor) and defrost. A slow warm up is better. Ill also throw my UV shield on the floor to get it warm (hard to unroll when its cold). I always keep my resin and pit fill in a pant pocket to keep warm. One thing you can also make note of is where is the break on the glass? Is it in direct line of the defrost? Is it up at the top of the glass away from the defrost. Point is if its close definitly do a slow warm. If its far away from the defrost then let it rip, its going to warm slower farther away naturaly. I aways keep the heat (defrost) on during the repair. If the glass is getting hot, Ill turn it down. Im more woried about a temp change causing the glass to flex (turning the defrost off and it rapidly cooling) than the heat keeping the resin thin. JMO
