I'm using curing tape.

I finish my repairs in this order and have been having excellent results.

Fill repair and before I remove the injector I dab some thicker resin across the top to prevent air from seeping back in. After this cures, I peel off the tape (usually left intact), scrape off that resin and then apply a dab of pit filler neccessary to fill the resulting small divet. Scrape that smooth and then polish.

We Tried 6 Diff. Mylar's From 6 Diff. Comp. & So Far Page Protectors "heavy Weight" Blow Everything Away ! And The Best Part Is You Can Cut To Fit Any Job ! Surface Is As Smooth As A --------- !

If Anyone Has Or Knows Of A Better Mylar Please Thread Away !

Thanks for the great idea. Now I'll be making my own mylar squares and using hair gel for suction cup lube!
