Windshield Repair Forum

About a month ago, i was doing a repair on a foggy windshield and it ended up that I found the wrong one... It had suposevely (sp?) already been done and it wasnt until about 20 min. into it that i found out--it filled just like a brand new chip, I couldnt believe it because it looked like nothing was done to it before. I always frown upon critisizing other people's work to a customer, but in this case, it was hard to find words that didn't. I guess we could also thank the not-so-good "techs" out there for making the real ones look so good:eusa_danc

Don't mean to be criticizing but. Did you put the defrost on? Good thing your system is good, and the repair turned out great. What system did you use? And what happened to the other chip?
